The HO5718 SeaStar Hose Kit is engineered and designed specifically for SeaStar Steering systems. Dometic SeaStar recommends that ONLY SeaStar or SeaStar PRO steering hoses be used in SeaStar Steering Systems. The PRO hose comes standard with brass fittings, you can choose to upgrade to Stainless Steel fittings which are ideal for salt water applications. Features: Exceeds SAE Specifications. Exceeds ABYC Specifications. Engineered to provide the system with very low thermal expansion properties. Kink resistant Abrasion resistant. Made with reinforced Kevlar hose, rated up to 1500 psi. Swaged solid fitting connection with an O-ring seal and a metal to metal backup to the primary seal Can be used on ALL Seastar systems. Must be used with Seastar PRO steering. Comes standard with brass fittings - Upgrade to stainless steel fittings, ideal for salt water applications. Only available with Seatech.
