Original QuikWood has a 15 to 25 minute work life. Functional cure occurs in 60 minutes. QuikWood is not intended for structural applications. Benefits: Will not shrink or pull away. Cured hardness and density are similar to that of wood. Putty-like consistency eliminates drips and runs for a "no mess" application. No tools required for use. One hour after application can be drilled, sawed, sanded, filed, tapped, machined, and painted. Original QuikWood conforms to ASTM D-4236. Typical applications: Fill scratches, gouges, cracks, dry rot, insect damage and knotholes. Repair furniture, molding and frames. Reshape woodcarvings. Mold wood knobs and handles.
