ICOM IC-M37 VHF Marine Transceiver Designed for commercial and recreational boaters, the M37 comes with 6 watts of power for further communications range. The M37 includes all the great features in the M36, plus Icom’s exclusive Float’n Flash and a larger capacity standard BP-296 battery. The M37 is the perfect size and has an easy-to-grip design with large keys. A bigger LCD screen shows large channel numbers and status icons for easy readability. The M37AA is the same classic VHF handheld floating radio, but it includes the BP-297 alkaline case rather than a rechargeable battery and charger. The BP-297 requires 3 AAA batteries to power the radio. No need to worry about charging a battery, keep an extra set of alkaline batteries on board instead.
