Protocol's DeBOND Paint/Coat Remover by the Gallon Industrial paint, coating, powder coating remover and lead-based paint remover. This water-based, spray-on / brush-on formula does NOT flash off and is ideal for large removal and lead-based paint removal projects. DeBOND ? / AiA ? uses proprietary, bond-breaking, encapsulation technology to penetrate through paint/coating layers, break the adhesion bond and safely detach the paint/coating from the underlying surface. This innovative removal technology ensures delicate surfaces are not harmed and allows for easy containment of removed materials. This is ideal for lead-based paint removal as the toxic paint is easily contained and disposed of. Protection For: DeBOND ? / AiA ? can be used on most indoor and outdoor and vertical and horizontal surfaces where paint/coating removal is required. This product is effective is removing multiple layers of paint/coatings, however, multiple product application and removal processes may be required. When using on delicate surfaces, such as wood, brick or sandstone, always test a small area first. Rollers are NOT recommended. When spraying, DO NOT atomize the product. Refer to the TDS for required sprayer specifications. Surfaces must be clean and dry before application. Fully cover the underlying substrate with DeBOND ? / AiA ?. The color of the underlying paint/coating should not be visible when sufficient product has been applied. When applying by brush, use a dabbing motion to deposit product to the surface. Once applied on the surface, protect from rain, intense heat/sunlight/freezing and interference. Do not scrub or agitate the product, do not allow to dry out ? leave to dwell. Product will be visible working when the color darkens and the product begins to ripple. Test patches should always be performed to determine adequate dwell time and product suitability. Dwell time is complete when the paint/coating has lifted and can be easily removed from the surface.
