Description

The Original BOAT • UMBRELLA™ B10-40X More than an ordinary umbrella, the BOAT• UMBRELLATM is designed for harsh marine environment. Made with non-corroding materials, its new windproof design will not allow the canopy to turn inside out or lose it’s shape in gusty wind conditions. Our special patented annular baffle is double stitched to the interior and kept rigid by a stabilizing cord. It uses the force of the wind by trapping air inside the dome, thus pushing down on the BOAT • UMBRELLATM with the same force the wind pushes upward. The canopy measures 6 feet (1.8 m) across the bow. Fade resistant acrylic coated fabric is stretched over specially designed polymer bow ribs that will not rust or stain the fabric. The 5 foot (1.5 m) long shaft is made of flexible double cored fiberglass and has a chrome brass joint for compact storage in its own nylon carrying case. The 7/8” to 1” (22 mm to 25.5 mm) round rail mount adjusts to fit any angle on your vertical or horizontal railing or stanchion. The extra heavy load design of the clamp will not allow the BOAT • UMBRELLATM to slip on the rail. Made of 18-8 stainless steel and 356 anodized aluminum, it quickly detaches without tools leaving no hardware on the rail.
