Ice Box Conversion Systems The simple, reliable and efficient means to convert an icebox into a refrigerator or even a freezer. It’s a system engineered of components designed specifically for marine application. Three parts make up the system, a compressor assembly, a freezer unit and a thermostat. Units cool the entire box as well as provide a freezer. Anywhere from a 1 – 8 cubic foot icebox can be accommodated, equipping it to be a refrigerator, a full freezer or a combination refrigerator/freezer. These units have a small foot print for easy mounting, 1 or 3 plates for maximum flexibility and are thermostat controlled for a wide range of settings. Construction is a powder coated galvanized base which is corrosion resistant and easy to clean. Fan cooled condenser increases efficiency while the DC compressor is quiet, vibration free, safe and dependable. The pure DC unit minimizes RF noise / Electrolysis and is designed to operate at a constant angle of 30 degrees. The unit is shipped with everything you need to complete the installation.
